Amphitheatre. Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah
"A hell of a place to lose a cow." (Ebenezer Bryce, Mormon rancher).
Bryce Canyon is, in the strictest sense of the word, UNIQUE – nowhere is anything else even similar! Bryce is famous for its worldly unique geology, consisting of a series of horseshoe-shaped amphitheaters carved from the eastern edge of the Paunsaugunt Plateau in southern Utah.
