Red Canyon, Utah.
Red Canyon State Park is truly a natural jewel and little known. All of this natural beauty was generated by the relentless action of wind scraping away the soft sandstone. The tougher rock pieces remained standing while the soft surrounding layer was blown away. Then the dark and lush evergreens sprang up in the innumerable crevices, creating vibrant vistas of burnt red, orange and pink rocks, deep green trees and bright blue sky.
